Welcome to Myakka City Movers! By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using our services.


1. Definitions

  • “Client” or “You” refers to the individual or entity requesting moving or storage services.
  • “Services” refer to the moving, storage, packing, and related services provided by the Company.
  • “Agreement” refers to this Terms and Conditions document.

2. Services

  • The Company agrees to provide professional moving and/or storage services as per the agreed scope of work outlined in your quote or service contract.
  • Services may include packing, transportation, storage, unpacking, and other related services.
  • Any modifications to the agreed services must be communicated in writing and may incur additional charges.

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required to secure your moving date. This deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
  • Full payment is due upon completion of services unless prior arrangements have been made.

  • Late payments may result in additional fees.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

5. Liability and Limitations

5.1. Liability for Damages

  • The Company takes utmost care in handling your belongings. However, in the event of damage, liability is limited to the terms of the insurance coverage you select.
  • The Company is not liable for:
    • Items not packed by the Company.
    • Pre-existing damage to items.
    • Valuables, such as jewelry or cash, unless specifically declared and agreed upon in writing.

5.2. Excluded Items

  • The following items are not accepted for transportation or storage:
    • Hazardous materials (e.g., flammable liquids, explosives).
    • Perishable goods.
    • Illegal items.
    • Items exceeding the declared value limit unless specifically agreed upon.

6. Storage Terms

  • Storage services are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.
  • Clients are responsible for maintaining insurance coverage for items stored with the Company.
  • Items left in storage for more than [X days] without payment may be considered abandoned and disposed of at the Company’s discretion.

7. Access to Premises

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring the Company’s team has safe and legal access to the premises for pickup and delivery.
  • Any delays caused by lack of access may result in additional fees.

8. Force Majeure

The Company is not responsible for delays, damages, or failures to perform services due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, traffic, or government actions.


9. Insurance

  • Basic liability coverage is included in our services, as required by law.
  • Additional insurance options may be available at an extra cost. Clients are encouraged to secure adequate insurance coverage for high-value or irreplaceable items.

10. Claims

  • Any claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within [X days] of the delivery date.
  • Claims must include detailed descriptions of the items and evidence of damage (e.g., photos).
  • The Company will investigate and resolve claims in accordance with applicable laws and the terms of this Agreement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from your use of our services, including but not limited to violations of this Agreement.


12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts located in [appropriate jurisdiction].
